在提升对外国投资者的可及性方面取得进展之后，指数编制公司富时罗素将首次把越南从前沿市场归类为次级新兴市场。

　　根据富时罗素网站上的一份声明，越南将于2026年9月21日被纳入其次级新兴市场组别，但需要在2026年3月进行中期评估。

　　越南于2018年9月被纳入富时的观察名单，评估其从前沿市场重分类的可能性；越南也一直尝试使其市场与全球标准接轨。

　　基准的越南证交所指数年初至今上涨33%。
