Drax is kicking off a 450 million pound ($603.2 million) share buyback that is an extension to a 300 million pound-program it just completed.

The U.K. power-generation company said on Thursday that it is starting the first tranche of the new program for up to 75 million pounds. JPMorgan is managing the execution of the buyback, it said.

The group had announced this extension in late July. On Wednesday, it completed the final tranche of the previous program, which was first announced in July 2024.
