BlockBeats 消息，10 月 10 日，CZ 发文表示，其关注到社交媒体上都在就“Hyperliquid 联创 Jeff 出现在 Binance Labs 2018 年发布的合影中”一事进行讨论。可能很多人不知道，Jeff 在 2018 年曾是 YZi Labs（当时是 Binance Labs）第一期孵化计划的成员之一。可惜当时的项目以失败告终，YZi Labs 的投资血本无归，这在创投圈是常见的事情。当时自己和 Jeff 接触不多，早已忘记这件事。本来几个月前要和 Jeff 通个电话，但自己因日程排错耽误了，此后一直没找到机会重新约见。
CZ 补充表示，YZi Labs 并未获得、也不持有 Hyperliquid 的任何投资权益（无论是股权还是代币）。
