Stocks to Watch Friday: Applied Digital, Venture Global, Levi Strauss -- WSJ

Applied Digital (APLD): The data-center developer posted stronger-than-projected quarterly results and said it had finalized a new lease agreement with AI cloud-computing company CoreWeave (CRWV). Shares jumped by almost one-quarter in premarket trade.

Venture Global $(VG)$: The U.S. natural-gas exporter suffered a surprise loss in an arbitration case against customer BP (UK:BP, BP). Shares slid 15% ahead of the open.

Nvidia (NVDA), AMD $(AMD)$: The Senate passed legislation late Thursday aimed at ensuring U.S. companies get priority access to artificial-intelligence chips ahead of China.

Levi Strauss $(LEVI)$: The jeans maker raised its outlook for annual adjusted earnings and revenue after posting better-than-forecast quarterly results. However, shares skidded about 6% premarket.

Stellantis (STLA, IT:STLAM): The Jeep maker's shipments rose by an estimated 13% last quarter, driven by a strong rebound in North America. Shares rose 2% in Milan. Meantime, Volkswagen (XE:VOW3) posted a small rise in quarterly deliveries.
