FOMC Minutes Didn't Surprise; U.S. Government Shutdown Might Delay More Data Releases -- Market Talk

0617 GMT - The minutes of the Federal Reserve FOMC's meeting didn't contain any major surprises for markets, while the next key data input might be delayed as the U.S. government shutdown continues, Danske Bank Research's Emilie Herbo says in a note. FOMC members were "clearly very divided" in their perceptions of the inflation outlook, the assistant analyst says. The consumer price index for September is scheduled for release on Wednesday.
