CLSA证券日本公司分析师奥利弗·马修在报告中写道："预计投资者将对软银的机器人投资及其在工业AI领域的盈利机会更为乐观。我们此前一直疑惑软银为何重组其机器人资产，收购ABB机器人部门似乎给出了答案。"
软银股价创下8月8日以来最大涨幅。当日日本AI相关股普遍反弹，英伟达首席执行官黄仁勋关于公司Blackwell芯片需求"非常、非常高"的言论带来提振。
Ortus Advisors的日本股票策略主管安德鲁·杰克逊表示，收购ABB机器人业务可能提升市场对日本整个工业机器人行业的增长预期，这对安川电机等国内制造商而言是个好消息。
杰克逊称，软银正寻求拓展"实体AI"领域，这被誉为"能够迎来下一次工业革命"。
