据彭博新闻报导，随着双方仍处于僵局中，矿业巨头必和必拓与中国国有铁矿石买家之间的价格纠纷可能会持续数月。
彭博援引知情人士报导称，到目前为止，必和必拓对中国的发货几乎没有受到影响，这主要是因为该公司已经售出了11月和12月的大部分铁矿石船货。
消息人士称，上月底中国矿产资源集团有限公司下令暂停采购必和必拓铁矿石后，必和必拓在几天内就放出了多达50批船货。这些船货已卖给多家国际贸易商和至少一家中国公司。
作为谈判的一部分，中国矿产资源集团暂停购买必和必拓铁矿石产生的任何影响，可能只有在必和必拓开始销售1月交货的铁矿石后才会显现出来。这一过程将从下月开始。知情人士称，这段时间可能会给必和必拓在谈判中提供回旋余地。
