Fox Reportedly Takes Stake in Holywater

Fox (FOX, FOXA) acquired an equity stake in vertical video company Holywater for an undisclosed amount and valuation, multiple news outlets reported Thursday.

Under the terms of the deal, Fox Entertainment Studios will create and produce over 200 vertical video titles for Holywater's My Drama platform, Deadline said, adding that production has already started on certain series in Atlanta.

Holywater is said to have over 55 million lifetime downloads and its platforms include My Drama, a streaming app for microdramas, My Muse, a platform for AI-generated vertical videos, and My Passion, a book publishing platform, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Fox did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
