ACSL (TYO:6232) has been selected by NEDO for Phase 2 of its "Autonomous and Distributed Control Technology for Small UAVs" project under the Key and Advanced Technology R&D Program, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Running from FY25-27 with a 2.9 billion yen budget, ACSL will develop prototype UAVs capable of six missions, including disaster response and infrastructure inspection.
