Global Investments (SGX:B73) transferred about 36.4 million shares worth SG$4.2 million as a dividend payment, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
The issuance falls under the scrip dividend scheme, which means investors will have the option to receive additional shares instead of cash as dividend.
Following the allotment, the company now holds over 47 million treasury shares.
