EV Resources (ASX:EVR) said metallurgical testing results from composite samples at its Los Lirios antimony project in Mexico confirmed high head grades, metallurgical recoveries, and the presence of gold and silver by-products, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Downstream recovery during the testing surpassed 98.7%, confirming the potential for simple, low-cost refining. Composite assays confirmed a head grade of 4.45% of antimony.

Gold assays confirmed 0.3 grams per tonne grade of gold to 0.6 g/t grade of gold in composite samples, with silver assays consistently returning 3.7 g/t grade of silver.
