随着阿根廷政府不断消耗储备来支撑陷入困境的阿根廷比索，该国投资者正在加大对本月中期选举后总统哈维尔·米莱将让比索贬值的押注。
两位直接知情人士透露，阿根廷财政部周三已连续第七个交易日入市干预，抛售至少3.2亿美元。此前六个交易日里，估计该国财政部抛售了大约15亿美元以支撑比索。
短期利率也飙升至纪录高位，凸显出流动性收紧。10月31日到期的当地政府债券Lecap债券收益率从前一日的76%跃升至97%；11月28日到期债券的收益率从74%升至接近87%。
“市场似乎在消化选举后第二天就出现汇率制度变化，这意味着越接近选举日，汇率面临的压力就越大，” 经纪公司one618的经济学家Santiago Resico表示，“财政部每天大量抛售美元显然无济于事。”
