Sector Update: Consumer Stocks Steady Pre-Bell Friday

Consumer stocks were steady pre-bell Friday, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) up a slight 0.1% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) unchanged.

Levi Strauss (LEVI) shares were down more than 9% even after the company posted higher fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings and net revenue that beat expectations, and raised its guidance for fiscal 2025 adjusted earnings per share.

Six Flags Entertainment (FUN) said Executive Chairman Selim Bassoul will step down from the board from Dec. 31. Six Flags Entertainment shares were up 1% premarket.

USANA Health Sciences (USNA) stock was down 13% after the company reported preliminary Q3 results, saying it swung to an adjusted loss from a profit a year earlier.
