AlphaTON Capital (ATON) shares soared 87% amid heavy trading intraday after the company said Wednesday that together with its oncology unit, Tarus Therapeutics, the duo has signed a non-binding letter of intent to explore tokenization of economics for the mesothelioma program TT-4.

More than 27.9 million shares of AlphaTON traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 250,000.

Nexalin Technology (NXL) said Wednesday data from a peer-reviewed trial evaluating its 15 milliamp Gen-2 Nexalin DIFSTM device demonstrated "statistically significant" cognitive gains in patients with mild Alzheimer's disease.

Shares soared 68% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 166 million from a daily average of about 1 million.

Advanced Micro Devices' (AMD) recent deal with OpenAI is a major validation of the chipmaker's roadmap that may attract more clients, UBS said in a note.

Loop Capital increased Advanced Micro Devices' price target to $240 from $195 while reiterating a buy rating on the stock.

Shares jumped over 10%, with intraday trading volume at over 105 million compared with a daily average of about 58 million.
