Ariana Resources (ASX:AA2) said the first phase of an around 11,000-meter drilling program in the Dokwe gold project in Zimbabwe is set to start, and the reverse circulation drill rig is mobilizing from South Africa, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
A "significant" gold-in-soil anomaly identified to the northeast of the Dokwe North area will be drill-tested as a priority, per the filing. Four initial targets will be tested in a 26-hole program.
The firm's shares were up over 1% in recent trading on Wednesday.
