Patronus Resources (ASX:PTN) said drilling at its Thunderball deposit within its Pine Creek project in the Northern Territory confirmed strong, continuous, and high-grade uranium, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling yielded 0.63 metres at 65,092 parts per million or 6.51% equivalent triuranium octoxide from 90 metres, the filing said.
Samples have been sent for assay and uranium mineralogy, with results expected in the fourth quarter, the filing added.
Shares of the company fell past 2% at market close.
