Toyo Begins Commercial Operations at Solar Module Facility in Houston; Shares Rise

Toyo (TOYO) said Tuesday that its solar module manufacturing facility in the Houston, Texas area received a certificate of occupancy issued by the city.

The company said the certificate allows it to begin full commercial operations at the facility, which it said is designed to produce up to 1 gigawatts of high-efficiency solar modules per year.

Shares were up 3.8% in recent early trading.
