新加坡金融管理局在声明中表示，“新加坡金管局今年已两次放松货币政策。新加坡的经济增长强于预期，产出缺口将在2025年保持正值，明年将在0%左右。随着抑制通胀的暂时性因素逐渐消退，新加坡金管局核心通胀率应会在短期内触底，并在2026年逐步上升。

　　“因此，新加坡金管局将维持新元名义有效汇率政策区间的斜率、宽度和中点不变”。

　　新加坡金管局表示，该局有能力有效应对中期价格稳定面临的任何风险，并将在外部环境不确定的情况下继续密切关注经济发展。

　　接受媒体调查的20位经济学家中，有16位预测新加坡金管局将维持其政策设置不变。四位受访者预计将会放松货币政策。
