Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency's Fiscal H1 Profit Rises

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (NSE:IREDA, BOM:544026) posted an increase in its net profit to 7.96 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30, against 7.71 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share edged up to 2.88 rupees from 2.87 rupees a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing by the financial services provider.
Revenue from operations in fiscal H1 also jumped to 40.0 billion rupees from 31.4 billion rupees a year earlier, the filing said.
