Silver Mines' (ASX:SVL) shares soared over 7% in recent trading on Monday, while those of Andean Silver (ASX:ASL) jumped over 2%, after silver climbed up to 1.1% on Friday, nearing $51 per ounce.
The rising trade tensions between the US and China, as well as concerns about a lack of liquidity in London, drove the price of silver higher.
