Vulcan Materials (VMC) said Monday that its board has appointed Ronnie Pruitt as its chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1.
Pruitt, who has been Vulcan's chief operating officer since August 2023, will succeed Tom Hill, who will become the board's executive chairman, Vulcan said.
