WT Microelectronics' (TPE:3036) unit WT Microelectronics (Shanghai) will acquire real estate in Shanghai, China, for 275 million yuan, according to a Monday Taiwan Exchange filing.
Shares gained about 2% in Tuesday's late afternoon trade.
The 9,906-square-meter property will be purchased from Shanghai Jinchen Hemei Real Estate.
The company will use the property for its own office operations, it said.
