Aussie Broadband Posts Net Connections Growth of Nearly 23,000; Shares Down 3%

Aussie Broadband (ASX:ABB) posted net new connections growth of about 22,600 as of Oct. 11 after a round of annual price changes and increased market activity around the National Broadband Network speed upgrades, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company also reported growth in fiber connect orders, including almost 34,000 service modifications, 87% of which were speed upgrades, with about 290,000 customers receiving an automatic speed upgrade on Sept. 14, the filing said.

The company expects fiscal 2026 underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of between AU$157 million and AU$167 million, and capital expenditure of AU$55 million to AU$60 million, per the filing.

Shares fell nearly 3% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
