消息面上，据荣昌生物官微消息，10月16日，荣昌生物宣布，泰它西普治疗系统性红斑狼疮(SLE)的中国Ⅲ期临床研究成果，重磅发表于国际顶级医学期刊《新英格兰医学杂志》(NEJM)。据介绍，该试验达到主要研究终点，泰它西普组67.1%的患者实现了疾病活动度的显著改善，安慰剂组为32.7%。BLyS/APRIL双靶生物制剂被证实为是一种变革性的B细胞疗法，凸显了泰它西普在治疗系统性红斑狼疮领域的优势。
据悉，系统性红斑狼疮(SLE)是一种慢性系统性自身免疫病，可累及多器官并导致不可逆损伤。超过半数患者在确诊后2-6年内会出现器官损伤。尽管现有多种治疗手段，包括糖皮质激素、抗疟药、免疫抑制剂和生物制剂等，许多患者仍面临疾病活动困扰，凸显对新疗法的迫切需求。泰它西普治疗SLE适应症于2021年3月在中国获批上市，并于同年底进入国家医保药品目录，是全球首个用于治疗SLE的双靶生物新药。
