Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) is facing legal action in Britain over allegations that its talc-based baby powder caused cancer, multiple media outlets reported Thursday.
The lawsuit was filed at the English High Court on Tuesday against J&J and Kenvue UK, a unit of Kenvue (KVUE), Reuters reported.
Law firm KP Law said it has filed the suit on behalf of more than 3,000 claimants who allege that their cancer and other diseases were caused by using J&J's baby powder between 1965 and 2023, according to these reports.
Johnson & Johnson and Kenvue did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
