AMD Data Center Agreements Will Provide Big Revenue Growth -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Oct 16

1234 ET - Advanced Micro Devices' new agreements with Oracle and OpenAI provide a clear line of sight to huge revenue growth, say Wedbush analysts Matt Bryson and Antoine Legault, who raise their price target to $270 from $190. "Even assuming some overlap between these announcements, with each GW of capacity in our view likely requiring $20B of AMD products, this [OpenAI] relationship promises to dwarf our prior estimates which had assumed total revenues of $20B for 2026 and 2027 combined." The analysts now forecast earnings per share to rise to $9 in 2027 from $5.81 in 2026. Shares rise 7.8% to $235.05. (nicholas.miller@wsj.com)
