Ambac Financial Group (AMBC) said Thursday its Beat Capital Partners unit entered into a partnership with Blair Bartlett, a former Crum & Forster executive, to launch 1889 Specialty Insurance Services.

1889 Specialty Insurance Services will offer management liability and professional lines insurance services to financial companies, including insurance providers, and asset managers.
