美国联邦储备委员会表示，近几周美国经济活动变化不大，就业水平总体保持稳定。

　　美联储周三发布的对各联储辖区商业联络人所作调查的褐皮书报告，整体消费者支出小幅回落。与此同时，价格继续上涨，几个联储辖区报告投入成本上升速度加快。

　　美联储称，“由关税引发的投入成本上升在许多辖区都有所报告，但这些更高成本向最终价格的传导程度不一。”

　　该报告基于美联储12家地区银行截至10月6日收集的信息，由旧金山联邦储备银行汇编。
