Robex Resources (ASX:RXR)said construction and development works at its Kiniero Gold Project in Guinea remain on track and budget for the first gold pour in the fourth quarter, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The company said that the project remains lost time injury free with 4.9 million hours complete to Sept. 30, and mine development activities are tracking according to plan as mining has started on day and night shifts with delivery of ore to the run-of-mine pad.
Drilling and blasting contractor has been mobilized to the site, with the first blast planned this month, while construction of the tailings storage facility is progressing on schedule, and field-erected tankage is 99% complete with only painting outstanding, the filing added.
Assembly of the semi-autogenous and ball mills is nearing completion, marking a key step in preparing the processing plant. Work on the power station is also advancing on schedule, with installation of the low-voltage motor control centres now complete.
The company's shares rose 5% in recent Thursday trade.
