爱立信将从加拿大出口发展局获得30亿美元的战略投资。瑞典电信巨头爱立信（Ericsson）周三宣布，与加拿大出口发展局（EDC）签署一项总额达30亿美元的战略合作协议，用于加速人工智能及移动网络等关键技术的研发。
根据协议，双方将在未来三年内扩大爱立信在加拿大的研发投入，并深化本土供应链建设，重点推动量子技术、AI以及云化无线接入网络（Cloud RAN）等下一代通信技术的发展。
爱立信目前在加拿大雇佣约3100名员工，在渥太华、蒙特利尔及多伦多设有研发中心。公司表示，新合作将进一步加强与加拿大企业、高校及政府机构的合作关系，助力国家创新生态建设。
此次协议延续了爱立信与加拿大政府在2024年签署的6.35亿加元（约4.52亿美元）研发合作框架。EDC此次注资预计将帮助爱立信加快5G、AI与量子通信等领域的产品开发与商业化进程。
分析人士指出，加拿大正积极吸引全球科技企业在本国进行前沿研发投资。爱立信的扩产与合作不仅强化了其在北美市场的布局，也有助于加拿大在下一代通信技术领域提升国际竞争力。
