XRF Scientific (ASX:XRF) reported strong financial results for the September quarter, with revenue rising 16% to AU$15.3 million from AU$13.1 million in the prior corresponding period, and profit before tax increasing 7% to AU$3.4 million from AU$3.2 million, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The sales across all divisions were strong, with international markets in Canada, Belgium, and Germany contributing to overall growth, per the filing.
Consumable sales declined slightly to AU$4.4 million, while capital equipment sales increased to AU$5 million, driven by robust demand for Orbis crushers that doubled compared to the previous year, the filing said.
Precious metals sales rose sharply to AU$5.9 million, up from AU$4.3 million in the previous period, boosted by higher platinum prices that were passed through to customers, the filing added.
