Sector Update: Health Care Stocks Mixed Premarket Friday

Health care stocks were mixed premarket Friday, with the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) 0.2% lower and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) up 0.2%.

Novo Nordisk (NVO) shares were down more than 4.1% after US President Donald Trump reportedly vowed to reduce the price of the company's Ozempic weight-loss drug.

Revolution Medicines (RVMD) stock was up more than 7.7% after the company said the US Food and Drug Administration granted a non-transferrable voucher for daraxonrasib, a multi-selective inhibitor with the potential to help address various types of cancers.

Disc Medicine (IRON) shares were nearly 15% higher after the company said it has received Commissioner's National Priority Voucher, meant to expedite drug review process, from the US Food and Drug Administration for its drug candidate bitopertin.
