CMC Magnetics (TPE:2323) sold 230,000 shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, TSMC, (TPE:2330) for NT$334.9 million, according to a Monday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The shares were sold between Oct. 9 and Oct. 20 at an average price of NT$1,456.2 per share.
The transaction generated a gain of NT$72.1 million and was made as part of the company's portfolio management strategy, the optical storage media maker said.
