A widespread outage linked to Amazon's (AMZN) Amazon Web Services affected many companies. Coinbase (COIN) and Robinhood (HOOD) were among those whose services were affected.
Zions Bancorp $(ZION)$: The Salt Lake City-based bank is due to report earnings after markets close. Regional banks came under scrutiny last week after Zions disclosed a large loss and alleged fraud by a set of borrowers.
Kering (FR: KER): The Gucci owner struck a $4.7 billion deal with L'Oréal (FR:OR), selling its cologne-making brand House of Creed and licensing the fragrance rights for labels such as Balenciaga. Shares jumped about 4% in Paris.
Major companies including Tesla $(TSLA)$, Coca-Cola $(KO)$ and Netflix $(NFLX)$ are expected to publish results later this week.
