智通财经APP获悉，美国政府关门进入第20天，美国国家经济委员会主任哈西特(Kevin Hassett)周一表示，预计本周内有望结束停摆。哈西特表示，其在参议院的“朋友们”认为，在“No Kings”游行之前结束政府关门对民主党而言“观感不佳”，如今抗议活动已结束，“情况可能在本周出现转机”。
在刚刚过去的周末，全美各地不同年龄群体走上街头，参加“No Kings”示威活动，抗议他们所认为的特朗普总统的威权倾向与失控的腐败行为。哈西特指出，若关门仍迟迟无法结束，白宫将考虑进一步削减开支以迫使谈判。
他称：“我们听到一些温和派的说法是，不能在‘No Kings’集会前妥协。如果这最终不成立，白宫将不得不与预算办公室主任沃特一同审慎考虑采取更强硬措施把对方拉回谈判桌。”
该消息公布后，美股三大指数上扬，纳指涨超1%，标普500指数涨0.8%，道指涨0.6%，“恐慌指数”VIX下跌近8%。
