Zhongyuan Bank's President Steps Down; Successor Named

Zhongyuan Bank's (HKG:1216) president, Liu Kai, ceased to hold the role due to a change of job assignment effective Oct. 17, a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Shares of the lender were down nearly 2% in Monday afternoon trading.

The firm, on the same day, named Zhou Feng as its new president, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.

Zhou previously, from May 2024 to September 2025, served as deputy secretary-general of the People's Government of Henan Province.
