据九派新闻，贵阳的手机店店主孟女士10月17日反映称，自己13日在达达下单，让骑手帮忙配送一台苹果17promax至客户家中，不想却遭到了骑手跑单，骑手至今下落不明，本该送达给客户的手机也随之不翼而飞。报警回执单显示，孟女士说苹果17Promax256g橙色，10300元，骑手未给其送到，联系平台告知骑手把手机搞掉了，正在调取监控，现联系不上骑手，骑手联系方式175****9194，骑手定位在东山公园。 事发后孟女士先联系了达达平台，平台方告知她要报警处理，然而报警后警察却告诉她还是要投诉平台，“警察说我们这属于民事纠纷，得跟平台沟通。”10月18日，达达安全员称平台可以赔偿一万元，但期限可能要一个月，“平台有流程要走，所以期限暂时无法缩短，这个是不用签赔款合同的，后续如何赔偿我会再跟上面咨询。” 此前10月11日，贵阳就曾发生过一起骑手跑单事件，当时骑手配送的同样是苹果手机最新款，并且也是在配送途中失联的。孟女士说，自己与那起事件的当事人王先生是认识的同行，两人的店面就在上下楼。
