Genesis Energy (ASX:GNE, NZE:GNE), Contact Energy (ASX:CEN, NZE:CEN), and Meridian Energy (ASX:MEZ, NZE:MEL) shares rose after the New Zealand government said Wednesday that it wants to advance bioenergy in the country.
