CMC Magnetics (TPE:2323) sold nearly 1.7 million shares of KHGEARS International for NT$308.3 million.
The shares were sold between Aug. 25 and Oct. 21, at an average price of NT$181.75 each, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The deal resulted in a loss of NT$8.1 million, the company said.
Following the disposal, CMC Magnetics holds 97,000 KHGEARS shares, representing about 0.18% of the company.
The transaction was made for portfolio management purposes.
