Science Applications International Corporation said Toni Townes-Whitley is stepping down as chief executive, effective immediately.
The company named James Reagan as interim CEO.
SAIC, which provides information technology, engineering and technical services to the U.S. government, also backed its 2026 guidance, though it said a prolonged government shutdown may impair their ability to achieve that guidance. The company note that it reserves the right to reassess depending on when the shutdown ends and the broader government contracting environment.
SAIC said Reagan, who has served on the SAIC board since 2023, most recently was finance chief at Leidos Holdings, and previously was chief financial officer at Vencore, PAE and Aspect Communications. He also had senior roles at MCI Telecommunications, Nextel and AMS.
SAIC said its board now has 11 directors, 10 of whom are independent.
