Beacon Minerals (ASX:BCN) said an ore reserve estimate for the Iguana laterite deposit, part of the Lady Ida project in Western Australia, stands at 972,000 tonnes, with 63% proved and 37% probable, at 0.94 grams-per-tonne of gold for 29,400 ounces, with 68% proved and 32% probable, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The ore reserve estimate constitutes 100% of the ounces in the production target in the pre-feasibility study.
It estimated a mine life of 12 months and processing life of 12 months at an average all-in sustaining cost of AU$2,341.
The establishment capital for the laterite is estimated at AU$2 million, which includes site infrastructure and haul roads.
Its shares rose over 1% in recent trading on Thursday.
