CBRE Raises Full-Year Core Earnings View After 3Q Profit Rises

CBRE said third-quarter earnings and revenue rose and raised its core earnings view for the year.

The real-estate services firm said Thursday posted net income of $363 million, or $1.21 a share, compared with $225 million, or 73 cents a share, a year earlier. It said core earnings were $1.61 a share.

Revenue for the quarter rose to $10.26 billion as all of its segments grew.

On average, for the quarter, analysts had been expecting earnings of $1.29 a share, adjusted earnings of $1.46 a share and revenue of $10.11 billion.

CBRE said both advisory services revenue and global leasing revenue rose in the quarter, while global property sales revenue rose 30%, which was stronger than expected.

The company raised its core earnings outlook to $6.25 to $6.35 a share, from a prior view of $6.10 to $6.20 a share. Analysts are expecting full-year adjusted earnings of $6.20 a share.
