9:10 ET - T-Mobile is outperforming its competitors. The cell carrier in 3Q added 1 million net subscribers to its postpaid phone service--its most lucrative phone offering, where service is paid for each month on a contract. CFO Peter Osvaldik attributes the growing customer base in part to the speed of its networks. By comparison, AT&T on Wednesday said it added 405,000 postpaid net phone subscribers during 3Q. And Verizon, which is scheduled to report 3Q earnings next week, lost a net 9,000 postpaid phone connections in 2Q. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
