Rogers Communications Beats on Nearly All Metrics, TD Cowen Says -- Market Talk

0909 ET - Rogers Communications had a low bar for 3Q, but TD Cowen's Vince Valentini says "RCI delivered well versus that bar." In a report, Valentini notes that the Canadian telco beat on consolidated Ebitda, wireless Ebitda, cable Ebitda, EPS, free cash flow, wireless subscription additions, and postpaid churn. The only notable miss, he says, was wireless average revenue per unit and service revenue, "but we believe management will signal that the trends are turning, so that 3Q will be the trough quarter for these metrics."
