消息面上，10月22日晚，国际商业结算公布，10月22日，公司拥有70%权益的合营企业Keen Golden Limited与SAITECH Limited(卖方)就潜在收购事项订立一份不具法律约束力的意向书，据此，Keen Golden拟根据收购意向书收购SAI US INC(目标公司)100% 已发行股份。据悉，目标公司主要从事于美国营运比特币挖矿数据中心。目标公司的主要资产为5兆瓦比特币挖矿设施及相关营运牌照。
董事会认为，潜在收购事项代表于收购及扩大比特币挖矿算力方面的一项重大里程碑。集团将可优化其挖矿业务的运营，包括硬件选配、站点托管、能源管理及实时软件，从而提升比特币挖矿业务的运营效率及竞争力。董事会认为，潜在收购事项符合集团于金融科技行业发展的业务发展策略及计划，将为集团带来多元化的业务来源，并为股东创造长远价值。
