0601 GMT - SGS's third-quarter revenue was ahead of expectations, driven by decent organic growth, but the strengthening of the Swiss franc relative to most currencies could weigh on its full-year profitability, RBC Capital Markets' Karl Green and Andrew Brooke say in a research note. The Swiss testing, inspection and certification specialist slightly exceeded expectations for the third quarter both in terms of organic growth and reported revenue, RBC says. All divisions beat expectations except from business assurance, the analysts say. However, SGS reiterated its full-year outlook, as foreign-exchange headwinds could weigh on its profit margin, they add. (adria.calatayud@wsj.com)
