Australian Foundation Investment (ASX:AFI, NZE:AFI) repurchased 452,668 of its ordinary shares for AU$3.3 million in total as part of an on-market buyback, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The company plans to repurchase a total of 124.7 million of its ordinary shares, the filing said.
The company's Australian shares shed about 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
