中国地产大亨张欣正将投资版图扩大至纽约房地产市场。
据彭博社报道，她的家族办公室Closer Group旗下地产公司Closer Properties宣布，已通过现金交易从W Financial手中购得位于曼哈顿上东区、东79街与列克星敦大道交界的五个相邻地块，交易总额6250万美元。公司计划在此开发一座包含底层零售空间的精品豪华公寓楼。

这是张欣在纽约的首个从零开发项目，而此时其他多数开发商纷纷正在放缓新建项目，曼哈顿公寓开发速度趋慢。
作为Closer Properties的创始人兼首席执行官，张欣在采访中表示，公司计划在上东区、西村、切尔西等纽约历史文化街区开发精品型高端公寓，人们热爱这些区域，但那里的房源大多老旧，缺乏服务和配套设施。尽管利率和按揭利率都在上升，市场需求仍然压过了这些压力。
张欣与丈夫潘石屹1995年共同创办了商业地产企业SOHO中国，该公司在北京、上海建设了一系列标志性写字楼。黑石集团曾计划收购SOHO中国，但于2021年宣布放弃该交易。这对中国地产界夫妇于2022年从管理层卸任，但仍保留董事职务。
目前，张欣正通过Closer Properties把精力更多投向美国市场，其家族办公室目前管理的房地产资产总规模超过50亿美元，业务涵盖对波士顿、纽约等地物业的持有、运营及开发。（国际财闻汇）
