丰收的时节，在赤峰市宁城县小城子镇宁南“酵素”苹果采摘基地，满眼的红苹果如盏盏灯笼挂满枝头。依托生物技术，这里的苹果不施化肥，不用农药，受到买家追捧。
在采摘现场，内蒙古绿发农业科技发展公司负责人李洪全向来客介绍，这里的500亩苹果基地全过程使用“酵素”种植，没有任何化肥农药成分。其技术特点就是利用废弃的果蔬和农作物秸秆为原料，发酵成具有分解、转化、重组和催化功能的活性液态肥“酵素”水，最大限度地分解掉土壤、树体里的农残及重金属。经过3年有机转换，改良后的基地土壤显著提升了有机质含量，随机挖开一处土壤，便可见蚯蚓等有益生物的身影，形成了“土壤—生物—作物”的良性循环。得益于这种独特的种植模式，产出的苹果自带颜值和口感。
如今，这种绿色发展模式已在宁城县的小城子、大城子、三座店和五化等乡镇铺开，种植面积达3500多亩。截至目前，宁城县果树经济林面积有25万亩，覆盖16个镇乡街205个行政村，从业人员9.8万人，培育林果专业合作社23家，年产各类果品16.8万吨。培育了蒙富苹果、新苹红苹果、南果梨和寒红梨等多个优质品种，产值达8.2亿元。宁城县也先后荣获经济林建设示范县、蒙富苹果标准化示范区等国家级荣誉称号。
