智通财经APP获悉，沃尔玛(WMT.US)和艾利丹尼森(AVY.US)周三宣布了一项战略合作，将在沃尔玛的生鲜食品部门(如面包店，肉类和熟食店)实施新的射频识别技术(RFID)。
艾利丹尼森是一家提供射频识别技术解决方案的全球企业，其产品广泛应用于多个行业，包括零售、医疗、物流、航空等。据悉，这是业内首个此类解决方案，采用专为高湿度、低温环境(如肉类冷柜)设计的RFID智能标签与传感器技术，突破了长期存在的行业技术壁垒。该技术的应用预计将使沃尔玛员工能够更快速、更精准地追踪库存，确保商品供应充足，同时提高运营效率，并基于数字化保质期信息作出更智能的产品轮换和折价决策。
该项目旨在减少未售出的食品及食物浪费，直接支持沃尔玛到2030年将全球运营中的食品损耗与浪费强度减少一半的目标。两家公司均在全球范围内具有庞大运营规模——沃尔玛每周服务约2.7亿名顾客，而艾利丹尼森2024年在50多个国家实现销售额88亿美元。
沃尔玛美国区前端业务转型副总裁Christyn Keef表示：“我们相信，技术的存在应让我们的员工和顾客的生活都变得更简单。”
